Local Grand Case Site

Local Grand Case Dive Site

Location: Two minutes from our dive shop in Grand Case Bay.
Access: Boat
Depth: 0-30 feet (0-9 meters)
Type: Reef
Look for: Fan Corals, an abundance of fish, flying gurnards, eagle rays, macro life and octopus.

One of our “Local Sites” Creole Rock is located to the North of Grand Case Bay.  It is part of the French Marine Reserve and is a protected area. Moorings are provided for dive boats to protect the reef from anchor damage. Diveable in all conditions, this dive site has produced some of the most amazing marine life we have seen while diving around St.Martin, the most spectacular being 4 dolphins for 10 minutes whilst teaching a Discover Scuba course! The best part of the dive is the back of Creole Rock where the coral is fed by the rich Atlantic waters, passing jacks, barracudas and eagle rays are an awesome and regular sight. This dive site is perfect for Discover Scuba dives, Open Water certifications and Scuba Reviews but is also great for any level of diver due to its depth expect 60 – 70 minute bottom times.
